It was in 1878 that Joseph Marchak began his craft as a jeweler in kyiv. The workshop continues to grow and in 1899, one hundred and fifty workers work in the factory. In 1913, it is the consecration: Joseph Marchak becomes one of the suppliers of Tsar Nicolas II. After the First World War, his son Alexandre moved to Paris and opened a shop on rue de la Paix. A new era begins for the Marchak house. He received a Grand Prix at the Exhibition of Decorative Arts in 1925. Unlike his father, Alexandre chose to rely on the expertise of partner craftsmen. Around twenty Parisian workshops worked for Marchak throughout the 20th century. Excellent creative, he develops his brand with passion. Today, this House continues to create pieces of jewelry.
