The origin of the Reverso model of the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand is as mythical as the reversible case: the reversible case was designed for polo players during the British colonial regime in India in order to protect the dial of their watches from the rigors of this sport at a time when sapphire crystals did not exist.
This iconic model ultimately established itself as an object of art representative of the Art Deco period.
